The company is engaged in solar thermal power station design, construction and commissioning. It was set up in July of 2007 and is based in southern Spain. It has its registered business office in San José del Valle, a city in the province of Cádiz. The company is in-charge of the development of the 50-MW solar power plant project using cylindrical parabolic collector technology. The plant, which is located in Seville, Spain, includes a molten salt thermal store to ensure the manageability of electricity generation. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of SENER Grupo de Ingeniería, S.A. SENER is one of the leaders worldwide in the development of solar power, which enables electricity to be produced by treating steam cycles with solar radiation. As well as developing the technology and providing services to other companies in the construction of plants, such as the ones at Andasol, in Guadix (Granada), it also has its own projects in this field.
